Using Downdetector for PLDT – Interpreting User Reports During Maintenance
Real-time outage reporting sites can show spikes in user-reported problems. This can be useful to understand whether an issue is widespread.
How to use it responsibly:
- Treat user reports as a signal, not official confirmation.
- If reports spike in your area, do a modem restart and wait a few minutes.
- Confirm repair status through the tracker or support channels before assuming a prolonged outage.
If your modem lights show LOS/Internet/PON warnings for an extended period, proceed to track and report using the standard channels.
